No matter who we are, we can all experience times when life feels difficult. At times, we may feel anxious, overwhelmed, self-critical or stuck in patterns that are difficult to change. Reaching out for support can feel daunting but you don't have to work through these difficulties alone.

I offer warm, compassionate and evidence-based online psychological therapy for adults in the UK and internationally. I commonly support people experiencing anxiety, low-mood, low self-worth and confidence, grief, perfectionism and a harsh inner critic. I also provide online clinical supervision and private practice support for psychologists and experienced CBT therapists, alongside workplace wellbeing workshops for organisations.

I am passionate about normalising the experience of emotional difficulties and I believe that as humans, none of us are immune from struggling with our wellbeing.  I have a wealth of experience helping clients make some positive changes in their life, and I would love to help you to do this as well.

How I can help

I offer three main ways of working together: online psychological therapy for adults, clinical supervision and private practice support for Clinical/Counselling Psychologists and psychological therapists, and workplace wellbeing workshops for organisations.

Online therapy

Sessions for individuals via online platforms, using evidence-based therapy approaches, which are individualised. I help my clients to explore, understand and make sense of their experiences and learn ways to heal from, process, resolve and manage their distress.

This usually involves exploring what may have contributed to a person’s presenting concerns and looking at ways to address the impact of these experiences.

1-1 therapy is also about understanding and improving a client’s relationship with themselves in order to help them feel contentment in their lives.

Clinical Supervision

I offer warm, reflective and collaborative online clinical supervision for Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists and experienced CBT therapists.

Supervision can provide a supportive space to think carefully about formulation, therapeutic relationships, complex clinical work, professional development and the emotional impact of working as a therapist. I draw particularly on Compassion Focused Therapy in my supervision.

I can also offer support and coaching to psychologists who are setting up, developing or navigating independent private practice.

Workplace Wellbeing & Consultation

I offer engaging, evidence-based wellbeing workshops for organisations in Manchester, Cheshire and online.

Sessions can be tailored to the needs of your team and may focus on areas such as managing stress, preventing burnout, developing resilience, working with the inner critic, building confidence, setting healthy boundaries and supporting mental health in the workplace.

I can provide one-off workshops, webinars or a series of sessions, depending on what would be most helpful for your organisation.

The overwhelming negativity which has been present my entire adult life has lifted and been replaced with creativity, confidence and a more compassionate understanding of my own difficulties and those experienced by the people around me. I felt instantly at ease with Hannah and it didn’t take long before I was feeling the benefits of the therapy sessions. Therapy with Hannah has been a hugely positive experience”
