Client Testimonials

"I cannot thank Hannah enough for her knowledge and expertise in guiding and supporting me through this aspect of my life."

I was at a point in my life when I did not recognise myself anymore. I had little or no motivation. I felt sad or angry most of the time and I did not consider these feeling, I just knew that I wasn’t ‘me’ anymore. I did not really consider my past life experiences and how they might still be having a negative impact on me. Hannah showed compassion and was extremely supportive throughout my journey. Hannah did challenge my thoughts and feeling when appropriate.

I really did learn to appreciate and understand this. I also enjoyed when I could look back and see the positive changes that had made. I still find it unbelievable that I had been struggling for quite a long time. Hannah also helped me to also challenge my thoughts, feelings and beliefs and helped me to talk to myself in a more compassionate way.

I cannot thank Hannah enough for her support throughout my therapy. Hannah comes highly recommended. A life saver in my eyes. I really was struggling with ‘happiness’ before meeting Hannah and having therapy. I do still have moments when I need to ‘check in’ with myself and use some of the techniques that I have learnt but I would not have done this before. I have learnt that this therapy was one of the kindest things that I could have done for myself and for that I thank Hannah.

"Hannah is amazing at what she does, and I can't thank her enough for the positive impact she's made on my life."

I sought Hannah’s help after struggling with anxiety and depression for several years. I was in a high-pressure corporate role and found my excessively driven personality and lack of compassion for myself and others was starting to take its toll. My relationships with friends, family and colleagues were suffering and my anxiety levels were sky-high. Hannah spent time really understanding me, my experiences and how my issues had evolved. Taking the first step to therapy was really difficult but she quickly put me at ease which made me feel very comfortable talking about how I felt and my experiences without ever feeling judged. Throughout the process I learnt so much about myself and how to manage my anxiety and low mood. Hannah helped me to understand why I was struggling so much and I’m now able to recognise thoughts and situations which might trigger those feelings and address them. If you are experiencing your own challenges, I would wholeheartedly recommend Hannah.

"Online therapy was really convenient for me. It was great to be able to access it from anywhere, without the pressure of physically having to get to an appointment, and I felt comfortable being in my own environment."

Hannah has supported me through one of the most difficult periods of my life & helped me recognise how my previous experiences had left me feeling anxious and traumatised and we’re still having an impact on me.

She is so warm, friendly and welcoming and completely put me at ease from the 1st session. She approaches each session with knowledge & compassion and validation of my struggles. She has supported me to be more compassionate to myself, by challenging my thinking/perspective when needed and has equipped me with tools to move forward and maintain a healthy balance.

I’m so glad to have found Hannah. She really has made a positive impact on my health/in my life & I don’t think I would be in the place I am Today without her input and support.

"I have suffered with ME/CFS for five years and have tried a myriad of different treatments, none of which really addressed the root cause of the illness. These treatments focused on the physical symptoms and I now believe I have finally found the missing piece of the jigsaw. Thanks to Hannah's expertise I am finally on a steady and stable path to recovery."

Online therapy worked very well for me. It was convenient and stress free. It removed any anxiety I would usually experience when driving to an appointment and meant I could relax and participate better during my session.

The therapy focused on helping me understand how my past experiences and relationships have shaped me and how this ultimately led to my having chronic fatigue. Hannah gave me techniques to help calm my nervous system and showed me how to improve my relationship with myself by responding in a more compassionate manner.

"Hannah has great instincts, she was able to challenge me in a way that was needed in order to shift my way of thinking and at the same time she provided me with clarity, reasoning, understanding and compassion - all traits that I so desperately needed from someone wise and kind."

Hannah supported me during the most difficult and painful time of my life thus far. The weekly sessions with Hannah helped to keep me afloat, otherwise I think I would have sunk further and further down into the depths.

Hannah has great instincts, she was able to challenge me in a way that was needed in order to shift my way of thinking and at the same time she provided me with clarity, reasoning, understanding and compassion – all traits that I so desperately needed from someone wise and kind. To say she was like a shining star would be somewhat corny, but it’s the truth. Hannah was exactly what I needed at the time, I’m only sorry I didn’t find her sooner! I have greatly enjoyed our sessions and didn’t think it would be possible to attain such a shift in my way of thinking. To be more compassionate, understanding, nurturing – and to acknowledge people’s suffering and to validate their pain is hugely powerful and healing.

Hannah enabled me to bring out these qualities in myself which has been the start of deep healing. Thank you Hannah from the bottom of my heart. I will take with me forever this new way of thinking.

Wellbeing workshops

"Wow! Where do I start?! I did the self-compassion and mindfulness course with Hannah. I honestly think everyone needs to do it."

It’s about being given an extra set of tools. To learn to congratulate yourself, to learn to give yourself time without feeling guilty, to celebrate you warts and all! It’s about empowering yourself. I could not have stumbled across this class at a better time. I didn’t realise how much I had equipped my mindset until I started my new journey to becoming a fitness instructor.

I had a lot of challenging moments and my old self would have beaten myself up when I was learning choreography and I couldn’t quite get it I could have thrown the towel in, quit and thought what’s the use, I’m never going to do it. But I didn’t. Instead I talked to myself like I would to my children or to a friend. I gave myself a pat on the back, I focussed on the good and what went right instead of focussing on what went wrong. I gave myself some love and it’s not always easy to do that.

I am naturally a positive person but I didn’t realise until I went on this course just how much of a hard time I had been giving myself. I don’t now. I am able to give myself some slack and show some compassion – just like what you would encourage if you were speaking to someone else. This course is amazing and these tools that you unearth are invaluable and they apply to everyone. You need to do this course. It is worth every penny. I have not stopped preaching about Hannah’s course since I did it, it’s amazing. You’ll want to spread the word too once you’ve done it.

"Hannah's course equips me to deal with my personal challenges in a healthier way"
I was very excited and motivated while I attended this course as well as immediately after, but a few days after, life is back to normal and I wonder if anything changed for me? Then a few weeks passed and I experienced a personal challenge. And I quickly realised that the tools I used to process the event and work through my behaviour at the time, came directly from Hannah’s “From Critic to Compassionate Coach” course! This is what Hannah’s courses mean to me personally; it equips me to deal with my personal challenges in a healthier way. The challenges will keep coming, but with the tools Hannah teaches, my mental health doesn’t need to suffer as a result.

Workplace Workshop Testimonials

"I have seen the direct positive benefits in both my work and personal life. I have seen the direct positive benefits in both my work and personal life."

Originally I was slightly sceptical on the idea of having sessions to improve mental welfare. I believed it would not help me whatsoever and i did not believe in the benefits. After the course my opinion has completely changed and I have seen the direct positive benefits in both my work and personal life.

"It has been a particularly challenging time for me after losing my Father and a lot of these techniques that we have learnt have helped me cope with the process and help with my healing."

As I have done a lot of mindful work myself and also ACT work with my counsellor I was really excited that the company invested in this training for us as a group. All our sessions have been very interactive and my colleagues have also seen the benefits of working on the mind. There were a few visuals that I particularly enjoyed and also the group mindful sessions which gave us all good relaxing techniques and ways to clear our mind.

It has been a particularly challenging time for me after losing my Father and a lot of these techniques that we have learnt have helped me cope with the process and help with my healing.

Hannah is very personable and the content is delivered in a way that was appealing to us all.

"Really well delivered. The team got a lot from this. I really liked the way the team gelled together."

Content was detailed without being boring. Controlled well in that we were allowed to really take part but when people went off topic it was brought back quickly. Really well delivered. The team got a lot from this. I really did like the way the team gelled together.

"Really helpful and interesting - such a good idea to integrate it into the workplace and something you can use in all areas of your life."

I really enjoyed the meditations at the start of the session that we did together as a group. I also liked that each session had a different topic/subject but we always revisited what we had covered in the previous session. Really helpful and interesting – such a good idea to integrate it into the workplace and something you can use in all areas of your life.

Hannah was lovely and really helpful and made everyone feel comfortable to share info if they wanted but never pressured to. A good amount of sessions to cover everything.

"I found this course very useful! Some great techniques and tools. The safe space of the group setting was great."

I found this course very useful! Some great techniques and tools. The “safe space” of the group setting was great, I felt like I could be open and honest even when I’d not achieved the desired outcomes, there was no judgement, just support and understanding.
